According to the CDC, statistics show that 56.1% of women of color aged 20 and over are obese, 44% have hypertension (measured high blood pressure, and the leading causes of our deaths are heart disease, cancer, and accidents. Very alarming numbers.
A Better Me: Motivational Sisterhood, a Christian non-profit organization geared to motivating women spiritually, physically, and emotionally, is holding its 1st Annual Walk-A-Thon. Please consider being apart of this walk. It’s purpose is to shed light and have Women of Color be more aware of trying to live healthier lifestyles as a preventative. See the flyer for information.
****Please be advised that this walk is NOT only for Women of Color, but they are our target audience for this event!!!!

** Women Leaders please feel free to bring your Women Departments and receive a discount for groups of 10 or more.
