Chalk Dust, Western Massachusetts’ premier all-teacher band, has been entertaining crowds with their unique interpretation of hits from many eras and genres. All five band members are teachers at West Springfield Middle School. The group members are: Bryan Ouimet (vocals, 6th grade ELA teacher), Natalie Donze (bass, vocals, 7th grade science), Dan Haryasz (acoustic and electric guitar, 8th grade history), Chuck Dufault (drums, 8th grade ELA) and Chris Taft (guitar, 8th grade science).
The band members share their love of playing music together and playing for their friends, families and fans! Chalk Dust’s eclectic range of material includes country, rock, hip hop and rap tunes - quite possibly one of the most genre-bending set lists in New England! The range of music sways almost as much as our weather….if you don't like the current tune, just wait until the next!
The West Springfield Lions Club will be serving food & soft drinks and the West Springfield Rotary Club will be serving beer & wine at this event sponsored by PeoplesBank and Westfield Bank
