The 2024 edition of the Big E takes place September 13th through 29th. The Big E Mardi Gras Band performs daily in the Big E Mardi Gras parade. On weekends, they stroll around the Fairgrounds and entertain the crowd with a variety of music, and also take requests. The band performs all original Mardi Gras music like you would hear in New Orleans. The musical selections also include music by Chicago, Bobby Vinton, The Beatles, The Turtles, Roger Miller, Tom Jones and your favorite Irish, Italian and Polish music.
The West Springfield Lions Club will be serving food & soft drinks and the West Springfield Rotary Club will be serving beer & wine at this event sponsored by PeoplesBank and Westfield Bank
