July in the Sky, Vernon's annual fireworks spectacular, is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026. The rain date is Thursday, July 9.

Fireworks begin when the sky is dark enough.

The fireworks are launched from Fox Hill Tower, providing excellent viewing from both Downtown Rockville (no admission fee) and Henry Park (admission fee applies).
