Springfield’s popular “Movies in the Park” program is returning for the summer, offering free outdoor film screenings across 10 parks.
The series will run from July 13 to July 31, with showtimes at 8:30 p.m. each night.
The city’s Parks and Recreation team, along with Mayor Domenic Sarno and City Councilor LaVar Click-Bruce, announced this year’s movie selections. These include “Zootopia 2,” “Goat” and “How to Train Your Dragon.” The screenings will occur every few days during the event period.

July 20: GOAT at Emerson Wight Park
July 22: GOAT at Marshall Roy Park
July 24: GOAT at Nathan Bill Park
July 27: How to Train Your Dragon at Greenleaf Park
July 29: How to Train Your Dragon at The Landing at the MassMutual Center
July 31: How to Train Your Dragon at Samuel Bolden Park

There are no admission costs, and organizers note there are no rain dates for these outdoor events. Bring your own chairs, blankets and snacks.
