Explore the science of flight by building and test-flying a balsa airplane to take home. This activity requires the purchase of a $5 build kit and is best for visitors ages 6 and older.

Spaceflight LEGO Contest

Engineer a LEGO build that could survive the extreme conditions of outer space! This challenge is open to visitors ages 4-13, included with general admission, and winners need not be present to win.

Use your engineering skills to build and design an own air-powered straw rocket. How far will yours fly? This activity is included with general admission and is best for visitors ages 6 and older.

Design wartime nose art or commercial livery for an airplane. This activity is included with general admission and is best for visitors ages 4 and older.
