Recently I felt disconnected from my church I felt like I was just not aligned with my walk with Christ . Wasn’t reading my Bible as much. Songs arrive at the right time and when you really need them. God is using the Q99.7 to do just that. “Come Jesus Come” by Stephen McWhirter was/is my “heart cry” song. I first heard it on Facebook last year so when I heard it on the Q99.7 it reminded me of the day I first heard it. I was stuck in traffic for 4 hrs. in Richmond, VA, and the song was in my playlist and when it came on I blasted it! One guy on a motorcycle turned towards me and nodded my way! Either he’d heard it before, or for the first time, but every time I hear it now, I think of that moment. Oh! And traffic started moving faster, too! Haha! The Q 99.7 has truly blessed me! I’ve been listening to this radio station non stop for the past year and I can tell you wholeheartedly it is really FEEL GOOD MUSIC! Hi Q.99.7! I’m 29 years old but when I was a teenager, I’d wake up every night listening to you guys on the radio. Laura Story blessings would come on and I’d bawl my eyes out everyday because I was so heavily struggling with depression. I was able to find Christ because of you at New Life Church in East Longmeadow. I haven’t had the smoothest of path when it comes to my faith, but most recently I was in a toxic marriage that ultimately led to a divorce. I had spent my entire 20s on this marriage and felt so lost. I remember during the time in the marriage I kept hearing in my head that this is not what He would want for his children and I clung onto the promise that He would see me through this. I was raised that divorce was bad and we couldn’t leave . I had no idea what was in store for me but I knew this wasn’t the ending of my story. Fast forward two years later, I am divorced and having my first child that I wasn’t entirely sure would be possible to have. I am in a healthy relationship, my life has changed, my mental health has gotten better. I lost focus on God but I quite literally worshipped my way through these life few years as music is one of the many ways for me to be connected to Him. Music saved me. If I had to tell you where this all began, I would tell you it started with 16-year-old Natalie waking up in the middle of the night struggling with anxiety and sadness, listening to Laura story, Matthew West, and a random stranger telling me how loved I am even though in those moments I felt so unlovable. I’m so grateful to have this station be a part of my story and I’m so glad that you guys are still around to touch other peoples lives the way you have done mine over the years!

God has blessed me through the Q99.7 while my son was going through physical challenges with Scoliosis and needed surgery. The Shriners surgeon needed to put two rods and screws into his back. His curve took a serious change over one year. I called the Q to have them pray. That was done 8/7/24 and he is back to school, riding his bike and having a normal 16 year old's life. Praise God!

The songs I hear on the Q997 have helped me so much especially on those really tough days when I feel like a failure and I feel like I am completely lost. The scripture verses that are also shared are so uplifting and encouraging and I feel that God had me turn on that station at just the right time.. His time. I have been listening since 2010 through the death of 2 sisters, the loss of a job and now the decrease in my current job's hours to 10 per week. In 2015 my Dad died from stomach cancer, Leslie (amazing woman that she is) got everyone in the studio together and they got a card signed by everyone for us. I was going through a rough time in life, I knew of the Q 99.7 and chose to turn it on that morning. A couple of months back I was going through some things and there was prayer happening on the air. I heard you guys say there is one more line open and I called in and got through. I just want to say how much that prayer has helped me. God has opened so many doors for me since then. The pastor that prayed over me prayed that God would supernaturally bless my finances and let me tell you, He has! I’m so glad that I called and was able to be prayed over. Everything has taken a complete change and I feel so blessed. I needed that prayer at that time and I’m so glad that God allowed me to get on that last line. He spoke through the pastor and answered all the questions that I needed answers to!! God is good!

I listen every morning on the way to work specifically so I can begin my day in the best possible frame of mind and with a happier demeanor than I normally would. The songs and even the radio hosts in between help me start my day with God on my mind and in my heart.

“I Am Not Alone” came on the radio just as I was going to drive off a bridge over the CT River. That area was under construction so there wasn’t a curb or Jersey barriers. I literally could hear and feel the pull from Satan to sharply turn my steering wheel to the right (which would have sent me over the edge). At the same time I could hear Jesus whispering “Hold on, hold on” as I felt the steering wheel being turned to the left to keep me on the road. The music seemed to go up in volume as I was crying out to God to “Keep me on the road!” Over and over until I got to my exit.

My only biological brother was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2019.
It was a chaos, something that none of us could ever think of...but God was our shelter, our only refuge.
My brother lives in the Netherlands with his wife and daughter, you The Q99.7 was my channel anywhere I was , in my house, when driving, at work....your support was all that helped me during this journey.
By God grace in 2021 someone donated his kidney to my brother....I can't not keep it quiet what God has done for us.

I have been listening to the Q on and off since they were in the beginning stages of becoming a radio station. I have always loved there music in fact my granddaughter who was like 5 and now is about to be 20 used to sit in the back seat singing the songs and we loved every moment of it. Recently I have been getting beat down by devil pretty bad and it was my 4 yr old grandson who one day said put my music on at the time I didn't know what he was talking about but when I was changing the radio station he said there that my song it was the Q. And this time it has been different the music seems like it is speaking to me. And it has brought me through some seriously dark and difficult times. I am so grateful that even though I stopped listening the Q kept going it Is because of all the people that donates, works and volunteers that I am able to come back and be encouraged. Thanks to all u supporters because without u this station wouldn't be able to reach listeners like myself who really needed the right music at the right time. I believe that the lord uses the Q to reach ALL of us in need so may the lord bless all of of you!!

I’ve been listening to the Q 99.7 daily for the last consecutive 59 days, and what a difference in hope, healing and peace I have felt. I love music in general and I love that I can hear different genres, a really nice blend and variety that can all speak the same message. Something I would not receive from any other worldly radio station if you know what I mean. The Q 99.7 is just awesome!

I'm a recovering addict who suffers from bipolar depression. If it wasn't for q997 and GOD who knows where is be today. Mind you I wake up happy and grateful in the mornings now when before I didn't even want to wake up. Due to addiction my son that was taken when he was five is now back in my life fully at 14. I just lost my Aunt recently and found out that my cousin has cancer on top of being very behind on bills with 3 kids, so I was feeling very down and like God wasn’t hearing me or helping. I was feeling very overwhelmed and just felt alone. So, I was driving and was angry and thought that there was no hope. I turned on your station and the song "God is in your Story" came on and, as I listened to the words, it reminded me that God is here with me holding my hand. I have a story but without Him there wouldn’t even be a story. He is holding my hand the whole time, so I need to call on Him more and live my story the way He wants me to. God is so amazing and it is my job to listen closer and harder to what He wants for me. He is an amazing God. The Q 99.7 reminds me of that every time I turn it on. I love listening to this station. A song always comes on when I need it. The song “We all need Jesus” says it all too. This station has helped me in so many ways. I have a problem with depression and The Q 99.7 is such an uplifting help when I need it. I love the songs that are played. It is a positive tool in my day to day life.

I prayed for years for Christian radio options. Not only did God answer my prayers alongside several others in this region, but God put the Q right in my hometown. Hi , I wanted to share how this email was sent to me on wed but I did not see it until Thursday morning and how it said they had local pastors praying in my area and to call for prayers , I hesitated I was in a really hard place unemployed looking forward employment since the beginning of Nov. I was really discouraged i called , pastor bill prayed I shared a little of my situation and he was very specific when he prayed asked God to provide to open the door for a Job but not just any Job the right one for me the same day that afternoon I received an email for an interview since then I went through all the process of paperwork my orientation is tomorrow! Where should I start? It's been a long journey, experience, life, with God. Full of good times and bad times, but the bad always end up turning into His perfect plan for not just me, but others as well. From being homeless, to finally being at home with God has been the best feeling so far. The 99.7 has changed my life!! I started listening 6 years ago when I was going true a tough time in my life and needed to get back to church. Since then I am a strong Christian, my Faith in God has grown so much. I listen to The Q 99.7 all day in my car, on my phone, in my home... my husband knows all the songs and he is not a Christian but I know that all the encouragement of The Q 99.7 will bring him to Jesus. I had just started the job I have now and was feeling very isolated and like I just didn't fit in there. I'm quiet and introverted and alot of the staff are the opposite. I've been struggling. About a month ago, I walked out of work and sat in my car. I found myself at a place or I felt alone and completely unwanted. I opened my journal, turned on the microphone, and said, "I feel like I am not enough for anyone and that I am easily forgettable and replaceable." With tear streaming down my face, I turned on my car to drive home. The Q 99.7 is always on my radio, and the very first thing I heard was, "who said that you weren't beautiful, and that you didn't belong in your own skin? Who said that you were all alone, and that you're never going to find love again?" from Rachael Lampa's song "Perfectly Loved." Cue even more tears. I can't remember how I found out about The Q 99.7 many years ago; but I do know that between the music, the DJs, and the events they have sponsored, I have found some of the strength I needed to keep going. The songs, the testimonies, the encouragement, and the Christian community has kept me moving forward. My storm is not over, but I know I will always have The Q 99.7 to lift me up. Thank you.

The day my best friend moved out of state was the same day my dad passed away. I only got to "be with him" one last time via FaceTime since he lives in another state. I was crushed. My heart was breaking into a million pieces. I felt so alone. But you played Katy Nicole's song "In the name of Jesus" at just the right time to help me remember the Lord was still with me and I still have a strong faith family here to support me through prayer. My best friend even called me from the road when she got the news that my dad had passed... and, she's not out of my life, just out of my town. Grief and mourning are not just for a day, nor is it just for those that have died, but God is on this journey with me, so I will make it with my faith intact.

Friday July 1st was my 2 years of sobriety date and I celebrated by being baptized on Sunday the 3rd. Prior to getting sober, I was not a believer. I didn’t believe in anything other than the world revolves around me. I was going through rehab for the second time when one of the sponsors pulled me aside and told me I needed to pray, that God was the only one who could help me. Once I stopped laughing, I realized she was serious. So that night, having tried everything else and not knowing anything about praying, I said 5 words. God, please help me. Amen. And the next day, my whole world was changed. It’s as if someone changed my perception of things. I saw the beauty in things, I’d see God’s fingerprint everywhere I looked. He worked a miracle that night and continues to work in my life, making me a better person with every new day. And though it all, The Q has been there, inspiring me every step of the way. God bless you for all you have done for me and all your other listeners. I tell every one about The Q whenever I testify of how God has changed my life.

Just now I got a "drive thru difference" at the Dunkin on westfield st... I really want to thank whoever has done that, it really brought a tear of joy to my eye and put me in an amazing mood. There was even a nice signed little note to come with it. Not only that, but mine was like $12 and all she got was a coffee, I felt so bad! I knew then I had to pay it forward and paid for the next person in line. The lady behind me even ended up paying for the person behind them. After she got all of her order, she waved at me in thanks and I to her and we parted ways. I believe we all started a little chain reaction. This whole situation just put a huge smile on my face and it just made me feel so good after that. It goes to show, just a little thing like this can have an extraordinary impact on people's days. Thank you to whoever had started this chain reaction, because it definitely made other people's days too. :)

Hello Q99.7! Well first let me say thank you for EVERYTHING YOU GUYS DO! The support you guys give our community! I know God has been with me through the storm and I know He will NEVER leave me, but He sure knew I needed my Q! lol! I first heard the station through my son Ernesto that's 15 years old now. He was probably 9 years old at the time, but would not got to sleep without it! I remember he had a little radio in his room and he could NOT sleep without this station on! It sure is our feel good station! God spoke to me through this station and still does till this day, in so many ways, and so many times. I lost count! Through chronic pain, addictions, anxiety, ect, God chose you guys, and the music you play which I love to minister to my children and I. We are really faithfull listeners of the Q! In the midst of this storm, I've come to realize that music and praise is a DEADLY WEAPON! So lets get it Q99.7! LETS KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS! HONESTY! AND LOVE! OUR LORD WILL DO THE REST! I have to share this... on Saturday I was in a car parade for domestic violence awareness in memory of one of my former student's mother's murder 10 years ago, Jessica R. As the cars started to begin to drive, of course I had the Q 99.7 on my radio. And as we began the parade, "Be Alright” by Evan Craft started to play... I allowed the words to wash over me and I reflected on how incredibly appropriate it was to start the parade with that song. This whole Pandemic has been very stressful for me and my family. My son just started working full time in retail in February, so I am constantly worrying about him. My youngest stresses about High School he is a Junior this year. Both my parents are disabled and live downstairs from me. Mom is a cancer survivor, so I stress over the extra caution it takes for caring for her and my Dad. I am only surviving because of the Q 99.7. It is always on in my car when I am driving. I have the app on my phone and use it, Whenever I am at home, I am usually cooking or cleaning or both and The Q 99.7 is louder than my thoughts. You guys have been my life safer since I found you in Sept 2013, when my whole life was turned upside down and through you and God I survived then and I will survive this too I can not live with out the Q 99.7.

The songs that I need to hear are always on point for what I may be experiencing at the moment. It’s always encouraging. The Q DJs are the best! I've been a believer for many years but being a PK and youngest of 9, I always felt inadequate to my siblings who seemed more “churchy” and perfect than I was. When I talk to the Lord It’s as if I’m having a regular conversation with Him. This made me feel inadequate even though God was answering my prayers. I just started fostering two little girls 5 & 8 and the other day they received Bibles from my church and then when we were in the car they heard some one on the Q 99.7 say the word Bible. As I get closer to my 25th birthday, I keep looking back and seeing just how much God has rescued me from and changed for me - both around me and within. 2017 was an earth-shattering year for me, and I've been stumbling around in my faith since then. He started listening to it and it’s the only station that plays in the car daily. He has been through so much in his life. He is now 3 years sober from drugs and is doing so well. This is my story how I TRULY found GOD.... I have always been a believer in "God" and never really thought about anyone else. I was deceived by lies, pretending to be someone they were NOT. I was told that they had my dog who passed away in November, I was reminded of all the "bad" I've done in the present and past.. smoking, stealing and even told me to stop singing (which I do LOUDLY all the time). I questioned WHY I was being ripped apart for things... I am very aware of things Ive done and asked WHY none of my GOOD wasn't mentioned. I help the homeless when I can, bring clothes to homeless shelters, I am a good friend and acknowledged my wrong doing. I am a GOOD person who makes bad choices. I realized I was NOT dealing with GOD. I told myself that GOD would NEVER tell me to stop singing. EVER. I was leaving my house one day to go to church for their food bank and was TOLD to NOT go to church. I THEN knew I was NOT speaking with GOD. Disappointed in myself, how could I have made that mistake?? I have always been a believer in GOD, NOTHING MORE. I turned to the bible, listen to services and started asking GOD to forgive me for wrong doings. I now know and starting to understand the TRUE meaning of GOD. To not just thank GOD when you get a green light instead of red, or finding a great sale. Now that I read the bible DAILY ..wishing I started sooner. GOD would NEVER tell me to STOP singing..nor would he point out all my flaws. I found GOD. I FOUND AND BELIEVE IN GOD. I will rise up!! What a wonderful, glorious, beautiful, amazing, peaceful GOD we have. AMEN all day long.

When I found out that my nephew (whom I had raised as my own son for 10 years) had suddenly passed away after being hit by a truck on his way home from work. My granddaughter Ej has been going thru alot since the day she was born, in her 4 years of life, on Her 2nd bday also Thanksgiving day she was admitted in Worcester for A rare Kidneys syndrome she has, she was in a comma for 4 days. last year while going through a horrible divorce and multiple restraining order hearings, I was traveling on public transportation as my mind wandered and raced. Tears started flowing and I couldn't stop it. I was so embarrassed. I put my headphones in and turned to your station and a song had already been playing but the first words I heard were "just hold on and I'll find you." I listened to every word of the lyrics and it touched my soul and gave me hope. I smiled through those tears. Good morning I need to share this.
I left my house this morning at 6:30 am in Westfield to take my granddaughter to her daycare in Springfield on Cooley Street (Shout out to Kindercare) a good 45 min drive one way. After dropping her off and arrived home I realized, I forgot to drop off her medicine. So I went to my apartment and made a cup of coffee for the long ride.
I get in my car of course turn on my radio to the Q Brant is talk how do you see God? He continues and says I'm a white guy so I see him as an old white guy when he told Gandalf I couldn't stop laugh and thought of when Gandalf says" YOU SHALL NOT PASS."

It melts my heart to see her singing out in praise and worship of our King, even after the radio is turned off. I was molested at a young age and it never effected me til now. I've grown up forced to go to church(Catholic), I got to the point in my life that I hated everything including my own life and GOD as well. I'm now 39 yrs old and my mom still doesn't believe that I was molested.I have three children that I love but don't know how to show it because i didn't grow up knowing love. January 22, 2017 I walked into RWC high on heroin and drunk. A month later I decided I had enough and stopped it all. Continued to go to church and joined the service team and found relief of all kinds. But then I had a falling out in Oct 2017, I quit church quit serving quit working out started to drink .. had no job from June 2018-Sept 2018. Depression anxiety anger all just took over my body my soul my spirit..I'm currently in the darkest pit without sight of light at the end of the tunnel I'm tired, tired of being a parent tired of trying to be responsible I want to quit and sometimes die. I can't get myself out of this darn pit....My son is 23 living in Colorado and financially struggling. My 22 year old daughter keeps losing her jobs and my 16 year old daughter likes girls and her father just spoils her instead of filling the refrigerator. The devils spirits have come to take me 100 folds. I listen to the Q every single day, I refuse to let anyone change the channel. Although I am struggling I am praying that things change not just for me but for my whole family...... THANK YOU Q FAMILY FOR ALWAYS TRYING TO KEEPING LIFE POSITIVE!!!!!!!

When I moved to western MA from Bristol CT back in 2011. I found my then boyfriend on a dating website called Christian mingle. After 3 months of dating we got married on 9/10/11. When we moved to Palmer MA I was so excited to have found the Q99.7. I have been battling depression since I was 13. Music has always been helpful and so when I found your radio station not only has it helped me but I feel like I have a go to whenever I feel that depression come on. You always seem to be playing the song that I so need to hear. I am for ever greatful for all the music you play. The best part about the Q is that my 4 year old daughter is going to grow up with inspiring, spiritual, and amazing music you play. Her current favorite song is Fix my eyes from For King and Country. Bless you for all that you do.

So, I've always loved Christian music but I would listen to country too. (Sadly country music is NOT country music anymore) Anyway a little over 2 years ago my 2 and half year old daughter had some major sickness, many ER trips, hospital stays and many new doctors... where I knew things could be A LOT worse, and I was SO Thankful for still having my daughter even with her new medical journey... some days, were SO HARD, I really questioned God, I cried a lot: seeing her in pain, holding her down for the 10th try for an IV line, when I felt alone, when we were getting no answers... thankfully music has always been a "feel better" way for me. Around the same time, there where some songs that just came on at the right time, when I was "losing the battle" you could say.... one was "Move" TobyMac... another "Trust in You" Lauren Daigle and so many others as if God was reminding me... He here. I can still struggle on harder days and a song you've been playing a lot lately gets me everytime by Natalie Grant "More than Anything"

This has been a tough season for me and my family my dad was hospitalized in June while at his Doctor's visit he had a grand mal seizure and was rushed to the hospital were they put him in an induced coma. Since then he has been in and out of the hospital for UTI's. I can say I have been questioning my faith a lot to the point where I stopped even listening to Christian music. The other night my youngest (who is on the autism spectrum and is on the lower part of the spectrum) came and sat next to me and blurted out confidence when I asked him what he meant he said play sanctus real confidence. I looked it up once I started listening I could not control the tears. My little man then looked up at me and said mom God loves you. I was blown away I will admit I still struggle but its getting a little better each day. Thank you for all you do for your listeners.

here was some unpleasantness at work and it was really weighing on me. I tried and tried to deal with it and dismiss it but it wasn't working. I have had enough and declared one morning that it wasn't going to over take my day. The Q had a mix of songs that where just speaking to me that morning and a block away from my job 'Surrounded ' had came on. It brought me all the way onto my job to park with me singing along. From that day on the unpleasantness calmed down immensely.

last night as i was driving home the words to a song playing were "if not for Your grace i'd be homeless for eternity" gave me a deeper realization of eternity and made me stop and say "thank You Jesus" once again for saving me. In the past few months 7 people I know have died and a close friend is diagnosed with liver cancer with a 3% chance of survival so salvation ( of myself and others) is in the forefront of my mind

I've been listening to the Q all day today. As I opened my browser at work I was going to listen to a different station, but God put it in my heart to listen to the Q! He knew what my day would entail and that I would need the extra encouragement. This afternoon, someone stole a considerable amount of cash from my purse at work...I was discouraged and angry. I finished my work day dealing with the police and had to stop in Enfield before heading home.
It had been raining and there at the bus stop was a man soaked from the rain. I looked in my backseat and sure enough, there was an umbrella within my reach. I could not stop due to traffic, but I was able to circle around the block. I grabbed the umbrella, pulled over just enough, held it out for him and said, "please take it". He looked relieved as he humbly said "thank you" and I could see him opening it up immediately as I drove away. At that very moment, the sky opened up and the rain turned into a downpour. I was so happy to have given this man my umbrella. Just because my day had a bad incident, helping this man completely changed my mood!

I have been through some major ups and downs (my wedding, my children being born, my divorce, moving back in with my parents, getting my own place, back to my parents, my father passing away, getting my own place, a new job.. and right now, my son turning away from God) and the music and the DJs of the Q have continually been a major blessing to me and my children. continuing to guide and bless us - even through the hard time with my son - and I couldn't imagine life without this uplifting blessing and reminder of the community of believers around the world that stand together as The Church

I have been fighting stage IV lung cancer for 5+ years. It has been a real roller coaster journey with ups and downs, but God has been with me this entire journey. He has blessed me with every minute every second that I am breathing and living whether or not its a good day or a bad day. I got the opportunity to meet and pray with Pam and Tim staff at the Q.It was an incredible experience! I also got to donate and deliver valentines to the elderly in local nursing homes. Heavenly father I am so blessed by you! IT IS ENCOURAGING to be able to pass you're grace onto others that need it!! I just purchased tickets for OBB concert tomorrow I cannot wait to get some spiritual healing hallelujah and a huge AMEN!!!!
