Our Story

The journey of The Q 99.7 began with a vision—to create a place where uplifting music and encouraging words would bring hope to people throughout the Greater Springfield area. After nearly seven years of paperwork and delays, that vision became a reality when The Q 99.7 officially signed on the air on November 1, 2006.

From day one, our mission has been clear: to provide a faith-filled, family-friendly radio station that inspires, encourages, and strengthens our community. Today, our signal reaches more than 350,000 people, offering a positive alternative to mainstream media with uplifting music, real-life stories, and messages of hope.
