A Tribute to our Veterans, Servicemen & Servicewomen in Windsor Locks CT

Visitors to the Museum will have the opportunity to meet & talk one-on-one with veterans of military conflicts. Included in the program will be re-enactors from WWII, representatives from Soldier On, and CT Veterans Affairs office. At 12:30 p.m. Serene Hackle will be speaking on her book Skipper Goes to War. A heartwarming tale of a beloved Cocker Spaniel and his relationship with a B-17 bomber crew in the thick of World War II.

Visitors are encouraged to bring new personal hygiene products that will be donated to a local veterans' home. An area will be set aside for children to make holiday cards for our veterans.

Free admission for Veterans and active duty military personnel.
