Cozy Winter History Workshop in Deerfield

We invite families with children to join us in the History Workshop this winter. Each week our museum educator will offer a story reading with an accompanying hands-on craft. Children of all ages can enjoy our Colonial play area, our book nook, and can work on burlap weaving. This is a drop-in program; children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under five are free; children ages 6-17 are $5, and adult admission is $7.

Winter Hours
December 2, 2019 – April 17, 2020: The Flynt Center of Early New England Life will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Visitors can enjoy current exhibitions and “The Museum’s Attic” gallery. The Henry N. Flynt Library will be open Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. The museum will reopen for the 2020 Season on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
Seasonal Winter Admission: $7 Adults, $5 Youth (ages 6-17), under 6, Deerfield/South Deerfield residents, and members free. Historic Deerfield’s museum houses are closed to the public during the winter months (January-mid-April).
