Agawam, MA – A powerful Domestic Violence Awareness Event will take place on Saturday,
August 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kaptain Jimmy’s, located at 916 Suffield
Street, Agawam, MA 01001.

This event aims to educate the community, uplift survivor voices, and provide valuable
resources to those affected by domestic violence.

Event Menu Includes:
Guest speakers and survivor stories
Resource tables featuring information from local support organizations
Community education on early warning signs and prevention
Appetizers, refreshments, raffles, entertainment activities, and gift bags

All proceeds from the event—including 50% of book sales—will be donated in the form of a
check to Agawam Counseling Center, Inc., located at 30 Southwick Street, Feeding Hills, MA.
