Join us in celebration of Independence Day! Experience fife and drum music, cannon demonstrations, games, a parade, and more. Hear special readings of poetry and the Declaration of Independence. Join in a game of base ball, or watch a toy hot air balloon take flight. Marvel at the work of our skilled artisans and tradespeople, meet and greet sheep, chickens, cattle, and pigs, and learn about life in early 19th-century rural New England.
On July 4th only, the Village will host a Citizen Naturalization Ceremony. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will present candidates to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and they will pledge their Oath of Allegiance to the United States for the very first time. Please note: The Citizen Naturalization Ceremony typically takes place on the Village Common, and there is plenty of space for families of the new citizens and the general public to watch. In the case of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside, and priority seating will be given to the families and friends of those who are becoming new citizens. Thank you for your understanding!

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2:24
