Santa Claus will be returning to Roaring Acres Alpacas this Holiday Season to spend more time with his farm friends! Families will have the opportunity to see Santa, capture the moment with photos, hangout with the alpacas, and do some shopping in our lovely Boutique! Santa does like to collect letters from all the good boys and girls, so feel free to bring your lists along with you! Though this is a free event, donations are appreciated and go towards the care of our lovely farm animals.
Tickets are not required, but HIGHLY encouraged. Tickets will become available at 7:00pm on Sunday, October 24th, 2021. We will be posting the link for tickets on this event page, our Facebook page, as well as our Instagram.
We will be taking reservations in 15-minute time slots – there will be 5 families per time slot. 1 household = 1 ticket. Once you reserve your 15-minute window, you are welcome to check in at any point during this time slot. If you are late to arrive to your reserved time slot, we cannot guarantee a visit with Santa Claus. Santa may also spend some time walking around to say hi to the animals or reading stories to the children. We will have a standby system in place for anyone who is a walk-up, but this will be based on availability and we cannot guarantee a visit with Santa if you do not have reservations.
Here are the dates Santa will be spreading his Holiday cheer at Roaring Acres:
Friday, November 26th from 11am-2pm
Saturday, December 4th from 11am-2pm
Saturday, December 11th from 11am-2pm
Sunday, December 12th from 11am-2pm
Saturday, December 18th from 11am-2pm
Sunday, December 19th from 11am-2pm
And we didn’t forget about your furry friends! If you are interested in bringing your pup along for your photos, please message us for more information & availability. Please note: this option is not available for all time slots & all animals must be pre-registered through one of our staff members.
We do suggest bringing your own camera as well in case we are unable to take pictures at your scheduled time. Please carpool, if possible, to allow as many guests as possible to get into the spirit of the Holidays at our farm. This is a wonderful picture opportunity and we do encourage matching/cute outfits, but please be mindful that it is still an operational farm. You will most likely get a bit dirty, so plan accordingly.
Due to COVID-19, we reserve the right to cancel this point at any time based on government guidelines, unforeseen illness, weather, etc. The mask policy will be discussed further as the event approaches and will follow any guidelines dictated by the state of CT.
