What child doesn't love PBS KIDS shows and characters?! Join WGBY at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for a day full of all things PBS KIDS featuring live character visits from Curious George and Clifford The Big Red Dog, along with the Springfield Museums' The Cat in the Hat.

WGBY Kids Fan Day is like a comic book convention for PBS Kids, with everything from PBS KIDS-themed costumes and activities to live music and children’s books and art.

Free kid-sized ice cream with every ticket courtesy of Friendlys. Tickets also available at the door. Proceeds benefit educational public television in western New England.

Get a sneak peek of PBS KIDS new show, "Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum." Chris Eliopoulos, Co-creator, Executive Producer and Illustrator, will talk about the show and present a drawing workshop for kids.

The Odyssey Bookshop and R. Michelson Galleries present a β€œpop-up bookshop,” showcasing children’s literature and original artwork. See hand-drawn renderings of Arthur by Marc Brown, and explore the stories enjoyed by millions of children worldwide.

Take a rest and enjoy advance screenings of Xavier Riddle And The Secret Museum, the latest PBS Kids show. Based on the children’s book series Ordinary People Change the World by New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer and illustrator Christopher Eliopoulos, the series will introduce kids to inspiring historical figures and the character virtues that helped them succeed. It premieres on WGBY on Nov. 11.
