Jeanette

I am originally from Long Island, NY and have lived in several parts of NY including upstate and the Bronx. My radio journey began by volunteering at a local radio station in upstate New York where I was “discovered” by the receptionist and encouraged to apply for a on air personality opening as a co-host and producer. Without any prior qualifications, God opened the door with the gifts He has given me. After re-locating to Springfield, Mass I found myself with another opportunity for radio through The Q 99.7. I have a heart to reach those around me with the light of Hope through Jesus and love to use my giftings for that purpose.

Things you may not know about Jeanette:

I have an old movie collection of few hundred movies and still find some that I don’t have and want. LOL I’m a collector of classics, what can I say?!

Having a very big heart for the younger generation, I was a youth leader for a number of years working with teens and young adults from age 14-23, I continue to mentor young adults as opportunities open.

I’m a PK and a PR… if you know what a PK is then you might be one too….(Pastor’s kid and Puerto Rican… I also specialize in Spanglish)

I love music and have worked on a few projects of my own which include a christian music video, mix tape, and a few singles.

I’m NEVER bored!

When not on the radio:
I’m usually doing one of the following - spending time with family and loved ones, staying productive with some project, or working with makeup and skincare through our business, as a self employed entrepreneur.

Things I really enjoy: Old movies (yes even the black and white ones, but there has to be sound and words… I’m not into the silent films). Horses! Cookie Dough Ice Cream! Taking pictures of special moments! Quality time with loved ones!

Some of my Favorite films: Casablanca (1942), Bringing up Baby (1938), The Philadelphia Story (1940), Send Me No Flowers (1959)

Favorite artists: So hard to choose, but one of my favorites is Blanca, also love Tauren Wells, CeCe Winan and just about everything from Maverick City!
