2019 Easter Musical and Service in Agawam

​The Bethany Choir and Orchestra will present the Easter musical entitled “O MIGHTY CROSS” in both morning services Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam, Massachusetts. Presentations will be at 9 am and again at 11 am, celebrating the risen Christ and bringing focus to the significance of His death on the Cross and the corresponding effect on and in our lives. What was a “tree of death” became a “tree of life” to us, as Jesus, by His death on the Cross, took on the sin of the world, and by His resurrection, made a way for all to be saved and redeemed back to the Father.

​Pastor Ken Bryars, Minister of Music of Bethany, has compiled the 8-song musical from many different sources, bringing together the Passion week in a dramatic, yet personal, portrayal of Jesus’ road to Calvary, his death, and His resurrection. The musical will be interspersed with video to visualize the impact of Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice.
