Our annual Spooky Safari presented by Teddy Bear Pools & Spas is Saturday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dress in costume and enjoy family-friendly Halloween fun complete with various grab-and-go stations for kids ages 0-12* around The Zoo. Stations include a take-and-make craft, books, candy, pumpkins and more. The event will also feature a raffle, virtual costume contests, a pumpkin decorating contest and discounts in our gift shop.
*Children under one are more than welcome to participate in the grab-and-go stations but need a pre-purchased ticket to do so. Children under one who do not wish to receive goodies, are free and do not need a ticket.
Grain cones and raffle tickets can be added to your purchase and picked up in the ticket booth the day of the event. Due to limited supply, grain cones are restricted to two per family and will be sold on a first-come, first-purchased basis. Once sold out, no more will be available.
Due to the City of Springfield's mask mandate and the expected number of attendees, all guests over the age of two are required to wear a proper face covering over their mouth and nose while inside The Zoo. Costume masks are not a replacement for proper face coverings.
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be given. This event is rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 31 and all purchased tickets will be transferred to the rain date.
