West Springfield, MA: The West Springfield Police Department is answering the call yet again to support the Operation Santa Program in West Springfield. This program sponsored by the West Springfield Park and Recreation Department distributes food baskets and toys to needy families in West Springfield. The toys and gifts are available to children ages 15 and younger in families where the Christmas Season might be less joyful without this assistance. Townspeople, along with business and community groups are among those who contribute to this program. This program is only for West Springfield Residents that meet income guidelines.
Grab a toy and visit them at the following locations:
December 1st: Caroling on the Green located at Town Hall from 6:30pm-8pm
December 2nd: Irish Cultural Center on Morgan Rd from 5pm-7pm
December 3rd: West Springfield Town Hall from 11am-1pm
They are currently in need of toys for boys and girls ages 0-15 years old. All donations must be unwrapped. Toys will be collected throughout the Month of November and can be dropped off at the West Springfield Park and Recreation Department, West Springfield Police Department, or the West Springfield Mayor's Office.
